Refund policy

At Babu Pearls, every piece of jewellery is carefully crafted and quality-checked before dispatch. Due to the nature of jewellery products, we follow a strict No Return / No Exchange policy, subject to the conditions mentioned below.

No Return / No Exchange Policy

We do not accept returns or exchanges for the following reasons:

  • Change of mind after placing the order

  • Personal preferences regarding design, colour, size, or style

  • Slight variations in colour or finish due to photography or screen settings

  • Incorrect size selection by the customer

  • Delays caused by courier partners

Once an order is placed and confirmed, it cannot be cancelled, returned, or exchanged.

Eligible Cases for Replacement / Refund

A replacement or refund will be considered only in the following cases:

  • Product received is damaged during transit

  • Product has a manufacturing defect

  • Wrong product delivered (different from the order placed)

⚠️ These are the only scenarios under which we offer support.

Reporting an Issue

To be eligible for a replacement or refund:

  • The issue must be reported within 24 hours of delivery

  • Customer must share:

    • Clear unboxing video (mandatory, without cuts or edits)

    • Photos showing the issue clearly

    • Order ID and registered mobile number

Complaints raised without an unboxing video will not be accepted.

Resolution Process

  • After verification, we will:

    • Replace the product, or

    • Initiate a refund (only if replacement is not possible)

  • Refunds (if approved) will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after approval.

Shipping Policy for Replacements

  • Replacement shipping will be arranged by Babu Pearls in approved cases.

  • Items must be returned in unused, original condition, with all packaging intact.

Non-Eligible Products

  • Customized or made-to-order jewellery

  • Items purchased during sales, offers, or discounts (unless damaged or defective)

  • Products showing signs of wear, use, or tampering

Important Notes

  • Jewellery images are for reference; minor variations are natural.

  • Babu Pearls reserves the right to approve or reject any return/refund request after inspection.

  • This policy complies with Shopify, Razorpay, and Indian Consumer Protection laws.
